AAP holds annual elections (usually in April) to determine who will sit on the Board of Directors the following year for those seats that are available. There are seven directors elected to the Board. Four seats (A,B,C,& D) are two year seats. Three seats (1,2 & 3) are one year seats. To become a Board Member 1) you need to be a full voting member of AAP, 2) need to have a volunteer spirit, 3) be committed to attend the monthly meetings and share your thoughts and suggestions, 4) share a vision for the association and it's future, and 5) be elected by the voting members of the association.
